Hockey: ST.Edwards vs Sault High

The Blue Devil Icers jumped out to a 3-0 lead only to see St.Edwards come storming back and tie the game at 3. Ethan Addiar scored the gamewinner in the waning seconds, Blue Devils, win 4-3. 

Girls Basketball: Rudyard at Sault High,Wednesday, January, 18th,2023

Blue Devils take care of the Rudyard Bulldogs handily at The Sault High Gym on Wednesday, 85-9. Blue Devils Danica Bergeron had 5 three's in the first half. Blue Devils are now, 7-2 overall and 3-0 in Straits Area Conference play.

Boy Basketball: Sault High at Rudyard, Tuesday, January, 17th, 2023

Blue Devils escaped a game Rudyard Bulldogs team on Tuesday, 48-44, Max Scott leed the way for The Devils as Sault High stays unbeaten in Straits Area Conference play at 4-0 and 7-2  overall. 

Hockey: Jackson Lumen Christi at Sault High, Saturday, January, 14th, 2023

For the second time in a month, Sault High Hockey defeated Jackson Lumen Christi in Overtime, on Saturday, Jay Dunbar with the game winner, 220 into Overtime. Blue Devils are now 11-4 and have won 6 in a row.

Girls Basketball: Sault High at ST.Ignace,, Friday, January, 13th,2023

Blue Devil Girls Basketball handled St.Ignace with ease on Friday night. Blue Devils get to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in Straits Area Conference play. Our next Sault High Girls Basketball broadcast will be on Wednesday home to Rudyard.

Mens Basketball: WP vs LSSU, Thursday,January, 12th, 2023

LSSU Men had a tough night at the Bud Cooper Gym, falling to Wisconsin Parkside, 78-64. Lakers play host to Purdue Northwest on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm on Newstalk 1400 with Matt Pocket

Womens Basketball: WP vs LSSU, Thursday, January,12th,2023

Lake State Women fell Thursday night at home to The Wisconsin Parkside Rangers. Lakers cut the Ranger lead to single digits heading into the fourth quarter, Rangers were able to pull away with a 86-70 win. 

Girls Basketball: Sault High at Alpena, Monday January, 9th, 2023

Sault High Girls B ball won a hard fought game at Alpena on Mondaynight. 57-48. Blue Devils couldnt shake The Wildcats til late in the game. Laura Innerebner had a big second half for the Devils to help put The Cats away. 

Hockey: Plymouth at Sault High, Saturday,January, 7th,2023

The Sault High Icers jumped on the Plymouth Wildcats early and often onto a 6-1 win. Garret Gorsuch led the way with a hat trick,, part of a 5 goal weekend for Gorsuch. Blue Devils will next play Capital City at the Big Bear Arena on Friday at 8 pm.  Our next radio broadcast of Sault High Hockey will be Saturday against Jackson Lumen Christi, Face Off Show around 3 PM.
